Jupiters Casino opened on Broadbeach Island on 22 November 1985, originally trading as Conrad Jupiters Casino. The opening established a major new gaming and hospitality destination on the Gold Coast and began the history of the resort that occupies the island today.

Over the following decades, the property developed far beyond its original casino and hotel concept. Jupiters became part of a much larger destination combining casino gaming, accommodation, restaurants, bars, entertainment and event facilities within a single Broadbeach resort.

The Jupiters identity was eventually retired as part of the property's transformation into The Star Gold Coast. Today, Jupiters Casino is the historic name of the same Broadbeach destination now operated as The Star Gold Coast.

Casino entry and The Star Club membership are two different things. Adult visitors can enter the casino subject to normal entry conditions, while membership unlocks rewards, discounts and the physical card required for carded gaming.

For visitors who simply want to stay close to the casino and have a conventional hotel experience, The Star Grand is the most straightforward option. Its accommodation ranges from Superior Deluxe and Corner Balcony Deluxe rooms to Executive accommodation and larger Club, Pacific View and Terrace suites.

Executive Deluxe Rooms are positioned on Level 18 and above, while selected larger suites include private balconies or terraces and additional Executive Floor privileges.

The Darling

A Smaller Hotel Built Around Suites

The Darling takes a different approach from The Star Grand. Its 56-room scale creates a more boutique setting, and the accommodation inventory is focused on suites rather than conventional hotel rooms.

The main resort pool area provides a relaxed outdoor environment for hotel guests, combining swimming, spa facilities, private cabanas and poolside food and drink.

Jupiters Casino is located on Broadbeach Island in the heart of Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. The resort can be reached by car, G:link light rail, airport transfer services and other local transport, with secure undercover parking available on site subject to capacity.

Jupiters Casino occupies Broadbeach Island in Broadbeach, Queensland 4218. The resort sits within one of the Gold Coast's main tourism and entertainment precincts, close to the beach, Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Pacific Fair and the wider Broadbeach dining district.

The official property describes the Gold Coast's famous beaches as approximately 300 metres away. Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta is around half an hour from the resort, while Brisbane is approximately a 90-minute drive under normal conditions.

Because the casino, hotels, restaurants, theatre and parking facilities are all part of the same Broadbeach Island resort, visitors arriving for gaming do not need to travel between separate venues once they reach the property.

Broadbeach is well connected by road and Gold Coast public transport, so driving is not the only practical option.

By Car

The resort has its own secure undercover car park on Broadbeach Island. Vehicle access is available throughout the day, although spaces are limited and entry cannot be guaranteed during busy periods.

Vehicles over 1.95 metres cannot be accommodated in the on-site car park.

G:link Light Rail

The closest G:link stop is Broadbeach North. From the station, the resort is an easy walk across the Broadbeach precinct to Broadbeach Island.

Trams operate approximately every 7.5 minutes on weekdays and every 10 minutes on weekends between 7am and 7pm.

The Star Gold Coast is approximately 30 minutes from Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta. Coach, limousine and bus transfer services can be arranged for a fee.
